*Privacy Council Will Offer Lexis-Nexis Content

The Privacy Council announced this week that it has formed an alliance with Lexis-Nexis to provide privacy content through the latter company's real-time news service, Veracity.

"By drawing on rich and deep content from Lexis-Nexis, we're able to tailor it to allow decision-makers to have information they need to make good decisions with respect to the need for privacy and personal information," said Gary Clayton, CEO of Privacy Council Inc., Dallas.

Businesses will be able to access the information by logging on to the Privacy Council's Web site.

Clayton said it is in beta testing and he expects the new service to launch by Dec. 1.

The Privacy Council also announced it soon will launch Privacy Matters, a biweekly online and offline publication dedicated to privacy issues.
