Printer Expands Options via Xerox

Xerox Corp. used the On Demand Conference & Expo, held May 15-18 in Philadelphia, to highlight a printing and mailing company's success using its high-speed Xerox Nuvera digital printing systems.

EU Services, a Rockville, MD, has two Xerox Nuvera Digital Production Systems. These let EU produce jobs with a wider variety of paper sizes for its customers, eliminating waste and saving money. Plus, the company has produced personalized jobs on coated paper, giving customers more options for high-quality direct mail campaigns, EU Services president Art Simpson said in a statement.

EU Services foresees its monochrome business increasing as more clients target their mailings to raise response rates.

Each machine prints 750,000 to 1 million pages monthly. Other documents the Xerox Nuvera can produce vary from customized direct mail to preprinted shells.

Nonprofits, associations and membership organizations comprise 65 percent of EU Services' customer base, with the rest business to business and business to consumer.
