Print Council Names Executive Director

The Print Council, a business development initiative dedicated to increasing the use of print media, announced the appointment yesterday of Martin J. Maloney as executive director.


Maloney's appointment took effect Nov. 8. He is chairman of Broadford & Maloney Inc., Greenwich, CT.


Maloney will spearhead membership efforts, manage the council's marketing and administration and oversee education, research and fundraising programs. He will provide the council with the administrative resources of Broadford & Maloney and establish a national headquarters for the council in Greenwich.


The Print Council had been governed by its executive committee. Paul Reilly, president/chairman/CEO of Cenveo Inc., remains chairperson of the executive committee. Also, many of the council's administrative duties were handled by Hayzlett & Associates, which will continue to work for the council but focus on media relations.


Broadford & Maloney provides marketing strategies and services to the graphic arts industry.


The Print Council was established in October 2003.
