Print Conventions Set for Fall

Xeikon America Inc. will hold its second annual education seminar Oct. 18-20 in Las Vegas for customers wanting to gain more knowledge about the company's digital printing technologies.

Seminar and panel topics will include sessions on data marketing, sales strategies and a segment focusing on several technical touch points about Xeikon's digital color press machines.

Belgium-based Xeikon, whose competitors include Heidelberg, Indigo and Scitex, did not predict how many would attend the event.

In addition, the Research & Engineering Council of the Graphics Arts Industry will hold its 27th annual seminar, called "Progress in the Pressroom," Nov. 15-16 at Marriott O'Hare hotel in Chicago.

One meeting will focus on new technologies and will be led by Harry Quadracci, founder and president of Quad/Graphics, Pewaukee, WI.
