Precision to Hire 500 for Miami Call Center

Precision Response Corp. began a recruitment drive yesterday to add 500 employees to its Miami-Dade County call center and also announced plans to open a new call center in Palatka, FL, creating another 430 jobs.

The Palatka location will be a 43,000-square-foot facility, Precision Response said. It represents a $4.2 million investment into the renovation of an existing building and the purchase of new equipment.

For the Miami expansion, the additional employees are needed to service growing business with existing clients, Precision Response said. The company is mainly hiring customer-care representatives for both sales and service and has a number of positions available for representatives with experience in the travel industry.

Precision Response, Fort Lauderdale, FL, was founded in Miami in 1982. The company is an operating unit of IAC/InterActiveCorp.
