Precision Taking Inbound Calls on Telethon

Precision Response Corp., Fort Lauderdale, FL, will provide inbound teleservices for the United Negro College Fund's annual telethon, set for Jan. 4-5, the company said yesterday.

Precision Response will have 350 teleservices agents working the telethon. Along with taking calls and pledges and handling customer service, the agents, who received special training for the event, will provide outbound calls for pledge verification and provide up-to-date donation totals to local television stations covering the telethon.

This marks the seventh consecutive year Precision Response has provided inbound teleservices for the United Negro College Fund's annual telethon. The telethon will air on 70 stations nationwide.
