PR Newswire Adds Mobile Optimization via iCrossing

PR Newswire Association LLC added mobile optimization to its search engine optimization service, becoming one of the first distributors of news releases to meet the formatting and technology needs of mobile devices.

Search-focused interactive agency iCrossing, New York, is supporting the improvement, which helps PR Newswire customers distribute releases friendly to both browser and mobile search engine formats.

Issuers of press releases can get detailed reporting on which mobile search sites generate traffic. They can gauge which search terms cell phone and PDA users employ to find particular releases. The service, live in beta form, has no extra cost as part of Los Angeles-based PR Newswire's premium US1 newsline.
