PostX Joins Committee to Stop Identity Theft

PostX has become a founding member of a new committee to fight online identity theft, the Cupertino, CA, e-mail security firm said yesterday.


The committee, being formed by the Information Technology Association of America, will focus on preventing online attacks such as spoofing, phishing and spam.


The group consists of financial services, information technology and e-commerce companies including Amazon.com, eBay, McAfee Security, Microsoft, RSA Security Inc., TechNet, VeriSign, Visa USA, WholeSecurity Inc. and Zone Labs.
