Postcom Will Honor 3 for Service to Mailers

The Association for Postal Commerce will honor postmaster general John Potter; Vince Giuliano, senior vice president for government relations at ADVO; and postal consultant and attorney Murray Comarow today at a reception at the National Postal Museum in Washington.


Potter, who became postmaster general in June 2001, will receive the association's J. Edward Day Award in recognition of his outstanding service to the postal community and the nation.


Giuliano, a Postcom officer, will be honored with the association's Lee Epstein Award for outstanding service to the business mailing community.


Comarow will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for his work on behalf of the business mailing community. He served as executive director of President Johnson's Commission on Postal Organization and was a senior assistant postmaster general.
