Portera, MarketFitz Team Up for Services

Portera and MarketFitz are expected today to announce business services software for advertising, marketing and public relations firms.

Portera, Campbell, CA, has contributed its business management suite called ServicePort, which comes with a secure, hosted, private-label Web site.

The package offers businesses the ability to show clients up-to-date billing details, such as how many labor hours have accumulated on projects. Users also will be able to share documents, schedule meetings, organize budgets, and execute other business and marketing projects with multiple clients.

MarketFitz, Seattle, serves mostly as consulting partner in this relationship, as the marketing services company helped to design the offering and will co-market the package.

Monthly subscriptions of $250 per user will be available in January. Soon thereafter, Portera and MarketFitz plan to add direct marketing applications such as mail and e-mail list directories and consulting services.
