Poor Toyota

I'm sending one of my sympathetic "tsk-tsk" sounds -- combined with a Yiddish-tinged "oy" -- out to Toyota, which, in addition to posting its first operating loss in 70 years  and suffering from "Saved by Zero" backlash, was featured in Mediabistro's Agency Spy with a  "Bad Placement Review." Click here to see how its display ad sadly sits right beside the press release announcing the loss...definitely advertising gone awry. The good news: I'm in the market for a new car and I'm still considering a cute little Yaris...
