Platt joins Catalyst Direct as chief digital officer

Catalyst Direct appointed Peter Platt to the newly created position of chief digital officer, effective September 26. He is leading all of the agency's digital marketing initiatives, as well as working to acquire new business and grow existing accounts.

“I will be setting digital strategy for clients, looking and helping them look at the Internet in a holistic way,” said Platt. “The idea is to help them make the online channel work best to drive their business.”

Platt reports directly to Mike Osborn and Jeff Cleary, founding partners of the agency. He is working on all Catalyst accounts.

Platt previously worked at media planning and buying agency Butler/Till, where he was VP of online media since 2002. He has also served as VP of marketing at dockside.net
