PlanetRx.com, San Francisco, the online e-commerce healthcare site, and IBM, Armonk, NY, yesterday announced IBM is providing the hardware and software to enable consumers to shop at PlanetRx.com from network-enabled Palm Computing handheld personal data devices. IBM's RS/6000 SP and Netfinity servers, Universal Database software, Websphere software, and technology that translates information from Web format to a handheld device format.
