Pitney Bowes Net Income Grows in Second Quarter
Second-quarter earnings at Pitney Bowes Inc., Stamford, CT, increased 14 percent from the previous year, the mailing solutions provider said yesterday.Net income totaled $134.7 million in the quarter ended June 30. Revenue grew 6 percent to $1.21 billion.
In another development, Pitney Bowes announced last week the completion of its acquisition of Group 1 Software Inc. The net cost was about $321 million.
