Pitney Bowes, eBay Debut Online Postage
EBay and PayPal users can buy postage online and print U.S. Postal Service shipping labels from their computers, the postal service said yesterday.Integrated on both PayPal and eBay.com sites, the eBay Online Postage solution from Pitney Bowes lets customers print a USPS shipping label and pay for the postage via PayPal accounts. Once the label is purchased, the buyer and seller will be able to track the delivery status of the package online.
The new, streamlined process eliminates the need to download software, provide unique registration and pre-fund a postage account.
