Pets.com, PlanetOut Form Marketing Partnership

Pets.com, a pet products, information and services Web site, has announced a marketing partnership with PlanetOut, a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender online community, that will establish it as the exclusive retailer in PlanetOut's "Pets" shopping category.


In addition, Pets.com will be featured on the PlanetOut home page, in the "Daily Deals" and "Hot Clicks" sections, and will have banner advertisements throughout the site.


Special offers from Pets.com will also be included in the PlanetOut Direct weekly e-newsletter sent to more than 150,000 subscribers, as well as in a "Highlights" section of the shopping area and in radio ads on PlanetOut's Internet radio channel.


PlanetOut (www.planetout.com) claims 250,000 registered members and more than 500,000 unique monthly visitors.
