Paul Sewards has joined Barker/DZP in the newly created role of managing director. Sewards was most recently SVP and worked on Samsung's business. He has also served as VP and managing director at BBDO Worldwide, where he ran Proximity BBDO.

Mediaedge:cia has appointed Mark Yesayian to lead the agency's West Coast digital operations. He joins from Ogilvy, San Francisco, where he was a partner.

Judith Carr has been named to the newly created position of US managing director at digital agency LBi. She is relocating from the agency's London office, where she had served as client partner.

Dennis Syracuse has been appointed SVP of marketing analytics at Datran Media. He joins the agency from Sony Electronics, where he was also SVP, leading operations and merchandising.

Della de Lafuente has been named director, strategic communications and editorial at Adrenalina, a new role for the company. A journalist by trade, Lafuente joins the agency from AdWeek Media, where she had been senior editor of the “Hispanic Marketing Report.”

Interactive agency Definition 6 has tapped Cynthia Rogers as chief client officer. She was most recently strategy director for Razorfish, and has also served as president/COO of Darwin Digital, Saatchi & Saatchi's interactive division.
