Robert LePlae has been named to the newly created position of president, McCann Erickson North America. In February, LePlae left his post as President of the TBWA North America. The new position is based in San Francisco and is effective August 12.

Orbitz' CMO Jeff Davidoff and SVP of marketing Tom Russell have left the company. Both vacated their position shortly after Orbitz named Trailer Park Studios its creative agency of record.

Michael Iaccarino has been appointed CEO of Mobile Messenger. Former CEO Steve Taylor will remain with the company as EVP of Strategy. Iaccarino joins the mobile content and services provider from Epsilon, where he had been president/CEO for the past eight years.

E-mail services provider Blue Sky Factory has named Steven Lucas chief compliance officer. Lucas previously served in C-level technology and privacy positions for several companies and is a member of various government privacy and compliance organizations.
