People en Espanol Sets Ad Record

People en Espanol's 50 Most Beautiful issue hit newsstands and subscribers' homes May 2, closing the largest ad issue in the publication's eight-year history.

The franchise issue in June lists the top Hispanic entertainers of 2005.

The perfect-bound edition of the Spanish-language monthly was 21 percent higher in ad pages, to 123.58, versus a 13 percent year-over-year increase for June 2004.

Five split covers were created for distribution across the United States, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

People en Espanol's circulation rate base of 450,000 makes it the largest Hispanic entertainment magazine nationwide. It is part of Time Inc.'s People magazine family.
