People en Espanol Grows Rate Base by 5.5 Percent

Time Inc.'s People en Espanol will up its rate base 5.5 percent this year to 475,000, from 450,000 in 2005.


The entertainment monthly has grown its rate base 179 percent since its launch in 1996. The magazine also claims to have over-delivered on its rate base for 17 consecutive Audit Bureau of Circulations reporting periods.


People en Espanol is one of the leading Spanish-language magazines nationwide. Newsstand sales, at 118,000 copies each issue, grew 5 percent in the first half of 2005 and subscription for the same period was up 2.8 percent.
