PCData Posts Daily Buying Meter

In response to the plethora of studies gauging how many people may buy online this holiday season, PCData has unveiled its Daily Buying Meter to show marketers how many people have bought online each day.

Located at www.pcdataonline.com, this free tool provides a daily snapshot of how many people have completed online transactions. For example, 1.41 percent of the measured users made a purchase on Nov. 9. This accounted for 369,511 actual online purchases. The data is compiled based on the daily activity of 600 retail sites. Financial, auction and travel sites are not included in the findings. PCData is based in Reston, VA.
