Parham tapped as eBay CMO

EBay announced October 15 that it has named Richelle Parham CMO for eBay North America. It is a newly created position, the company said.

“It's a new position; it's not a replacement,” said Amanda Coffee, eBay spokeswoman, adding that “it's a much broader role” covering North America.

Parham was previously head of global marketing innovation and initiatives at Visa. Before that, she led global marketing services at Visa, and prior to that spent 13 years at Digitas.

Greg Fant, VP of marketing, is leaving the company, which Coffee says is coincidental.
