Paper Exec Anderson Dies

Paper industry executive Robert I. Anderson died March 29 after most recently serving as president of the national division of Gould Paper Corp., New York.


During his nearly 28 years at Gould, Anderson also served as executive vice president and general sales manager. He was set to move into more of a senior advisory role in June.


Anderson was also an active member of the Association of the Graphic Arts, The Paper Club of New York and the Sales Association of the Paper Industry.


He is survived by his wife, Noreen; three daughters; a son and seven grandchildren. Services were held April 2 near his Park Ridge, NJ, home.
