Palm to Bundle Yahoo Web Services
Yahoo Inc., Santa Clara, CA, yesterday said it has agreed with Palm Inc. to bundle a suite of Yahoo's Internet-based services with Palm's hand-held computers.Yahoo will offer its Messenger and mail services in Palm hand-held computers, including the Palm III, Palm V and soon-to-be-released Palm VII. Financial terms of the agreement were not released, but this was the first time Yahoo has bundled its Web services on a hand-held computer.
Palm users will be able to access Yahoo mail, messages and special offers through their Palm computers.
