Packexpo.com to Form Online Packaging Equipment Parts Exchange
Packexpo.com, Falls Church, VA, yesterday unveiled plans to develop a parts purchasing exchange for the packaging equipment market.The company expects the exchange to alleviate downtime and production bottlenecks caused by part problems and breakage.
The exchange will augment Packexpo's operational Purchasing Exchange e-commerce platform, which facilitates equipment transactions between packaging suppliers and corporate buyers.
To date, 331 companies have purchased Virtual Exhibits on the Web site, while Packexpo's database lists 5,300 companies and 10,000 products.
