Pacific Trail Introduces BTB Site

Pacific Trail has launched a private business-to-business e-commerce site dedicated to serving the needs of the company's sporting goods and outdoor specialty retail customers.

According to Pacific Trail, Seattle, the site is integrated with Pacific Trail's order management system, and will provide quick and easy access to current product inventory and account information. The site officially debuted last week.

The password-protected site, www.pacifictrailb2b.com, is available to existing and new accounts, which are assigned individual log-in parameters from their Pacific Trail sales representative. Customers will have the ability to log on anytime for at-once information to preview products and features, place new orders, check on current order status and availability, as well as research order history.

Gary Hansen, Pacific Trail's president, said the site offers an online catalog that includes products from the Pac Tech and Inside Edge collections, as well as Black Dot snowboard apparel brand. The site features real-time transactions, a catalog full of digital product images, shopping cart-style order placement, order history and order status.

Pacific Trail said it will continue to evolve the site's features and benefits based on the changing needs of its retail customers.
