Overton's signs affiliate agreement with LinkConnector

Overton's, a boating and watersports retailer owned by Gander Direct Marketing Services, signed an affiliate marketing agreement with LinkConnector, effective April 9.

“A lot of the publishers in the LinkConnector network play well with our brand, and we feel like we can increase our online brand awareness through affiliate marketing, said Patrick Williams, Web acquisition manager at Gander Direct Marketing Services. “We've seen good growth in the network.”

Williams said that his company is familiar with the LinkConnector brand because LinkConnector manages the flagship Gander Mountain brand's affiliate program. The partnership was announced April 13.

“They've got a strong network, and strong customer service,” Williams said.

Overton's will continue a relationship with the Google Affiliate Network as well, Williams added.

A LinkConnector representative could not be immediately reached for comment.
