Over the Rainbow Names Strategic Solutions

Michael Mesic, a former senior Brann Worldwide marketing executive, has launched his own firm and already bagged the nonprofit Over the Rainbow Association for people in wheelchairs as its first client.

Called the Strategic Solutions Group Consulting, the Evanston, IL, firm will offer counsel, Web development, marketing and fundraising implementation for the association. This, in turn, will help Over the Rainbow improve its fundraising and informational programs.

"It was just awarded based on a relationship I had with people there," Strategic Solutions president Mesic said. "The mandate is really to help them put together a strategic plan for the future. What we're engaged in is helping them expand what they're doing nationally and having their approach become part of a larger organization."

Over the Rainbow plans to offer in-depth information for the communities it serves. The nonprofit wants to become the ultimate resource for all aspects and issues related to people who use wheelchairs.
