Outernet to Launch On-Demand CD Store
The Outernet Inc., which offers on-demand CD pressings of music and games, will open its first location next week in Apple Valley, MN.Store customers will be able to burn or print CDs by using kiosks with touch-tone screens. Songs from MP3.com's list of independent artists will comprise the music selection. Video games from various sources will be available.
The Outernet, Edina, MN, plans to open 20 other locations by this time next year. The next location is slated to open in either New York or Chicago by year's end.
