Orlov to Head Wunderman's Ford Account

Wunderman named Alexei Orlov to the new position of president and chief operating officer of the Ford Automotive Worldwide group to handle the Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo and Mazda brands.

Orlov will handle one of Wunderman's largest clients. He will run the service offering and automotive-related operations across the agency worldwide. Wunderman is part of WPP Group PLC's Young & Rubicam brands.

The new reporting structure will not affect Wunderman's Lincoln Mercury business. It continues to report to the agency's North America division.

Based in London, Orlov will report to Daniel Morel, New York-based chairman/CEO of Wunderman, and work with Satish Korde, WPP's president of the Ford Motor Group account.

Orlov's appointment was planned before the Jaguar end of the business went under review, Wunderman spokesman Andrew Sexton said.
