Online photo lab Mpix partners with Bronto for e-mail

Online digital imaging lab Mpix is migrating from an in-house e-mail marketing program to Bronto Software Inc.'s software.

Mpix, Pittsburgh, is a division of Miller's Professional Imaging, a professional photography lab since 1939. It is using Bronto to deliver marketing e-mails to its list of 160,000 customers.

Mpix hosts photographic images, makes prints and does other finishing services. Users can upload images directly to its e-commerce site to place orders, which are received by mail with a 24 hour turnaround. Mpix uses e-mail for marketing and transactional messaging.

Bronto, Durham, NC, is helping Mpix segment their list, track deliverability and track open and click through rates, which the photo retailer was unable to do with its in-house e-mail program. In addition, the Bronto platform will help Mpix keep its list clean and work to maintain whitelist status.
