OneStopPlus.com creates mobile e-commerce site, iPad app

OneStopPlus.com, an online plus-size fashion retailer, has launched a mobile commerce site and iPad application.

The mobile site, which debuted late last month, was built by mobile services provider Digby. The iPad app, launched in May, was designed by the in-house technology team at Redcats USA, which owns and operates OneStopPlus.com.

“Mobile usage has increased rapidly,” said Yann Tanini, Redcats' director of e-commerce. “OneStopPlus.com needs to be present in the m-commerce world, as soon as it will be standard business practice. In addition, the mobile site and apps will provide our customers with an optimized shopping experience and will enable us to reach them at anytime.”

The new platforms will allow consumers to browse and buy any of more than 10,000 products in OneStopPlus.com's online mall. Tanini said the mobile site and iPad app should create “significant growth” in sales in coming months.

Redcats launched OneStopPlus.com in late 2006 to give consumers the opportunity to shop for items from the Woman Within, Roaman's, Jessica London and KingSize brands from a combined shopping cart.
