ON-CARD Offers Per-Response Pricing

ON-CARD Inc., a direct mail provider offering a specialized marketing postcard, unveiled a new pricing mode this week that charges marketers only for responses to their mail campaigns.

ON-CARD, Delray Beach, FL, said it would produce mail campaigns for free to clients except for postage expenses, which must be paid upfront. Thereafter, marketers pay a per-response cost agreed upon before the campaign starts.

The Foundation for Democracy in Africa, a nonprofit, is the first client to use ON-CARD's cost-per-response pricing model. Its ON-CARD campaign is to start in April.

ON-CARD offers 4-by-5 1/2-inch postcards with the thickness of a credit card. The postcards bear a gift incentive, feature four-color graphics and can be personalized.
