Omnicom's DAS to Acquire M/A/R/C
Omnicom Group Inc., New York, said this week that its Diversified Agency Service division would acquire M/A/R/C, Irving, TX, an integrated marketing services company with a track record in brand analysis and measurement, and through its Targetbase business, extensive customer relationship management expertise.
Sharon Munger, chairwoman at M/A/R/C, said the agreement would help the agencies pursue a technology landscape and marketplace that is undergoing radical transformation. She said the key will be "to leverage the technology, customer insight and marketing resources into integrated solutions" that work for clients.
