Omnicom to Debut New DM Agency Network

Omnicom Group Inc.'s Diversified Agencies Services will carve out a new direct marketing agency network through an alliance of two company-owned properties.


The venture, named Direct Partners Network, is an alliance of Direct Partners, Los Angeles, and Claydon Heeley Jones Mason, London. The new shop will serve clients in North America, Asia and Europe.


Direct Partners' clients include E*Trade Bank, wholly owned by online brokerage E*Trade; Shutterfly, which allows for online photo uploads, printing and mailing of those images; and iMotors.com, a used-car seller. The agency also has offices in San Francisco and Atlanta.


Headquartered in New York, Omnicom's Diversified Agencies Services arm comprises more than 100 firms worldwide that offer services in direct marketing, promotional marketing, public relations and specialty communications.


Omnicom, New York, is a marketing conglomerate founded in 1986 as a holding company. Its advertising agency network includes BBDO Worldwide, DDB Worldwide and TBWA Worldwide.
