Omnicom Buys Aaron Walter Entertainment

Advertising agency conglomerate Omnicom Group Inc. bought Aaron Walton Entertainment, a 14-year-old Los Angeles marketing agency that creates alliances between the entertainment industry and consumer packaged goods companies.


The shop will become part of Omnicom's diversified services agency group. Aaron Walton will continue as president, overseeing agency offices in Los Angeles and New York. A Chicago office will open soon.


Aaron Walter Entertainment has worked with myriad ad agencies on projects for marketers like AT&T Corp., Gap Inc.'s Banana Republic, Tricon Restaurants' Pizza Hut and Taco Bell, Polaroid Corp., Levi Strauss & Co. and PepsiCo.
