OgilvyOne Worldwide Opens Office in Japan

OgilvyOne Worldwide, New York, has opened its 69th regional location in Tokyo. Dubbed OgilvyOne Tokyo, the new office will be used to provide direct response, one-to-one and interactive marketing services for numerous OgilvyOne clients including SmithKline Beecham, Nestlé, IBM and American Express.


"We have been building our consultancy practice in Japan for the past two years and are now enjoying a tremendous momentum of new business," said Reimer Thedens, chairman/CEO of OgilvyOne Worldwide. "We are well positioned in Japan to create 360 degree brand experiences on behalf of our clients and to nurture the relationships between them and their customers."


OgilvyOne, which has offices in 47 countries and billings of $1.6 billion, has named Midori Kaneko as OgilvyOne Tokyo's new managing director.
