OfficeMax Joins Wireless E-Commerce Market
OfficeMax, one of the three leading office products retailers, has entered the wireless e-commerce market with a dedicated store.Located at the retailer's existing store at www.officemax.com, the shop will sell mobile-ready software products that can be bought and downloaded onto wireless instruments and hand-helds.
Digital River Inc., a Minneapolis provider of outsourced e-commerce, said yesterday that it will offer online fulfillment and marketing, customer service, fraud prevention and transaction management for OfficeMax's mobile store.
The mobile store will be part of the OfficeMax.com/direct operations.
Digital River offers outsourced e-commerce services to brands like Staples.com, Siemens, Polaris, Novell, Autodesk, Symantec, Motorola, Fujitsu, 3M and Major League Baseball.
