Office Depot, AOL Sign Marketing Pact

Office Depot, Delray Beach, FL, and America Online yesterday signed a five-year, $44 million marketing agreement.

The companies plan to develop a co-branded business Web site to offer office products and services to small businesses.

AOL, Dulles, VA, will have a presence across all Office Depot sales channels, including 836 Office Depot stores nationwide. Office Depot's branded products will be featured in shopping and business-to-business areas across AOL's network.

AOL also will provide Office Depot with technology, such as its "quick checkout" tool.
