Office Depot Acquires Eastern European BTB Supplier

Office Depot bought Papirius s.r.o., one of the largest business-to-business suppliers of office products and services in eastern Europe.

Papirius has annual revenue of $56 million and operations in the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Hungary and Slovakia.

The deal strengthens Office Depot's presence in key international markets and enhances its competitive position in the increasingly important eastern European region, the Delray Beach, FL-based company said.

Papirius co-founders Petr Sykora and Jan Cerny will continue in their roles as managing directors.
