Clean Control Corp. is slated to begin testing a direct-response television effort for its OdoBan product at the end of this month featuring NASCAR driver Stanton Barrett, DRTV agency Infoworx said yesterday.

Testing begins March 31, according to Boca Raton, FL-based Infoworx, which is handling the campaign. Barrett, who drives the Clean Control-sponsored #60 OdoBan Ford, will offer an endorsement in a long-format infomercial hosted by DRTV veteran Tom Jourden.

The show will offer OdoBan, a stain and odor eliminating product, for $29.95 plus $9.95 shipping. The offer includes one gallon of OdoBan concentrate, a quart of OdoBan ready-to-use solution, a gallon of OdoBan stain-control solution with eight-ounce spray bottle, and quarts of OdoBan's glass cleaner, citrus clean and degreaser.

Infoworx, which is providing turnkey services on the campaign including production, inbound telemarketing, fulfillment, media placement and reporting, plans national cable media buys. Infoworx will place OdoBan on U.S. home shopping networks and conduct international DRTV efforts as well.

Financial details of the arrangement between Infoworx and Clean Control were not disclosed.
