Oasis TV Signs On With Aerocast for Broadband Service

Oasis TV, a 3-year-old content provider that offers programming on natural lifestyles, alternative news and spirituality on the Internet, television and radio, partnered with start-up broadband provider Aerocast earlier last week to provide its viewers with high-speed Internet programming.

Cable modem owners visiting www.aerocast.com can view Oasis TV programming at broadband speed.

Oasis TV receives its revenues from advertising, and the Aerocast deal will enable the Web site to feature streaming ad insertions by January.

"When you watch our program on Aerocast, it looks like you're viewing TV," said Robert Schnitzer, founder of Oasis TV, Beverly Hills, CA. By the first quarter of next year, viewers will be able to access the Aerocast-broadcast Oasis TV programs directly on the Oasis TV Web site, www.oasistv.com.

Oasis TV also runs its one-hour new-age programming on select local cable channels. By January, the program will run in 23 markets on television and radio, Schnitzer said.

Schnitzer said the company targets a new-age demographic of roughly 44 million viewers.
