"Their mobile computing solution will provide Central Hudson with the tools necessary to execute, deliver and monitor customer service levels, response times and productivity gains."
Mobility has three components: Mobile Dispatch, Automatic Vehicle Location and Scheduling & Street Level Routing.
With Mobile Dispatch, dispatchers receive work requests from various applications wirelessly and dispatch the work orders to field service technicians. Automatic Vehicle Location provides real-time, GPS-based vehicle location. Street Level Routing offers features such as real-time crew optimization, street-level routing and emergency response capability.
