Novartis said it chose Siebel Pharma for its primary-care sales operation after using the application in its specialist sales groups.
Siebel, San Mateo, CA, said the system's activity planning, call detailing and reporting processes will let the primary-care field sales teams prioritize customers and increase sales effectiveness, enhance communication, and streamline the sales process.
Siebel Pharma also will provide a closed-loop marketing solution, letting the company design and manage campaigns including medical events and mailings. Using information collected by the field sales teams, Novartis Pharmaceuticals UK will segment physicians, execute campaigns across multiple channels and analyze results for subsequent campaign refinement.
