Northwest Airlines Flies With CyberSight

Northwest Airlines Corp., the fourth-largest air carrier, has named CyberSight as its interactive agency of record, replacing Interpublic Group's Zentropy Partners.

Northwest Airlines, Minneapolis, has tasked CyberSight to develop its global strategy and implement localization across key markets. CyberSight has already worked on Northwest's Web site to redesign the airline's home page as part of this assignment.

"Our goal for the redesign was to give Northwest Airlines' business and leisure travelers what they wanted: streamlined navigation, fast access to fares, tickets and flight status, enabling them to transact efficiently," said Karen Lowe, vice president of marketing at CyberSight, Portland, OR.

CyberSight is owned by Canadian communications conglomerate MDC Corp. through its Maxxcom Inc. subsidiary. Clients include Quaker Oats Co., Visa International, Dole Food Co., Nissan, IBM Corp. and Honda, among others.
