Nordstrom Chooses Unica's Affinium Suite

Nordstrom Inc., an upscale specialty retailer of apparel and accessories, will use Unica Corp.'s Affinium software for cross-channel marketing campaigns.


The software from the Lincoln, MA, company is meant to increase the effectiveness of Nordstrom's communications with its customers. This way, Nordstrom, Seattle, can communicate with customers in the mode they prefer.


Unica's modular suite enables data mining and predictive modeling, real-time personalization, customer interaction, campaign management and reporting. Unica customers include Fingerhut Cos., Dillard's, Lands' End, Marriott and United Parcel Service.
