NFL Gives August, September Catalog Results

The National Football League, which is halfway through its 2002 regular season, reported August and September results this week for its NFL Shop catalog.


The book produced average order amounts of $93 and $87 for August and September, respectively, with response rates of just under 3 percent and just above 2 percent for those months. Total sales reached about $4.3 million for August and $2.4 million for September. Circulation was 1.6 million in August and 1.3 million in September.


The league expects a response rate greater than 2.5 percent for October, November and December with an overall average order exceeding $90.


Overall, the league expects 2002 catalog sales to outpace last year by about 15 percent.
