K&L Wine Merchants toasts new e-mail service

Online wine retailer K&L Wine Merchants has tapped e-mail marketing services firm StrongMail Systems Inc. in a move to increase its white listing and more easily manage its program. After using an in-house service that was often black listed and another provider that charged a per-message fee, K&L turned to StrongMail to accommodate its growing customer list.
 

Habeas partners with Cloudmark and Eleven GmbH

E-mail reputation services firm Habeas Inc. has partnered with two messaging security firms: Cloudmark Inc. and spam monitoring firm Eleven GmbH. In a move to increase deliverability, Cloudmark will integrate Habeas SafeList for its backend processing to help make sure that Habeas certified e-mails get delivered correctly to recipients' inboxes.

The Email Measurement Accuracy Coalition (EMAC), which was formed in April 2007 to establish e-mail marketing measurement standards, has defined its first metric: deliverability. Deliverability has been defined by the EMAC as total e-mail deployed (unique records) divided into the total amount successfully delivered.
