The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is set to propose rules that would prevent Web and wireless carriers from blocking Internet applications, a concept known as net neutrality.
Swedish home furnishings retailer Ikea will launch a digital campaign with AOL next month that includes display advertising, custom content and a microsite. The effort signals a new commitment to US digital media on the part of the multichannel merchant. Ikea's media AOR, Mediaedge:cia, helped to choose AOL for the initiative.
A McAfee study, Digital Window Shopping: The Long Journey to Buy, of 163 million online shopping transactions found that 65% of all shoppers will wait a day or more to complete a purchase.

Video is all over the place. It is great for the audience. It is great for marketers too, but it takes up computing space. Lots of it. This is a serious problem that will impact creative marketing and advertising departments in particular. Video is quickly supplanting everything else as the method used to spread whatever gospel needs to be spread online and beyond.
