Vertis Inc. CEO Mike DuBose will resign his position effective January 1, the company said. Dubose "successfully led Vertis' financial turnaround and acquisition of American Color, and is now looking forward to pursing other things outside of Vertis," according to a company statement.

Multichannel retailer Hanna Andersson and Gerber Childrenswear have been sold by Kellwood Company, an affiliated company of private equity firm Sun Capital Partners Inc., to Childrenswear LLC, another Sun Capital affiliate, for $179 million. Both brands will operate as independent businesses within the Childrenswear operation.
 

Panasonic debuts mobile campaign for new mobile device

Panasonic has a new Bluetooth-enabled device that can turn a landline into a cell phone. The new device, which lets consumers forward their cell service to a landline device is called Link-To-Cell, and it comes with a new campaign that is around in time for the holidays.
